Our mission is to recover Hispanic musical heritage and disseminate it at the same level as other European traditions. This work is based on the production of concerts and the editing of recordings, preceded by musicological research, musical editing and the selection of personnel. ad hoc.
That allow us to disseminate historical Spanish music thanks to the complicity of musical programmers and the support of Spanish public or private organizations. We prioritize creative work and commissioned programs, generally featuring Spanish works from before 1800.
We carry out between four and five new projects each year to rediscover and highlight great masters from the 16th to 18th centuries (Pujol, Rodríguez de Hita, García Fajer, Galán, Valls, Hidalgo, Durón, Ruimonte, Soler, Patiño...). We have a European vocation and commitment to Spanish artists. La Grande Chapelle is made up of soloists recognized in the field of historical performance.
We have our own discography that houses 24 discs who have rediscovered some of the best works from the Renaissance to the end of Classicism, often in world-first recordings. Each Lauda album follows a long process of research and development and has a very careful presentation. Have Worldwide distribution through the prestigious group Outhere.
With performances at important festivals and auditoriums in Spain, Europe and America. We have obtained recognition from the public and critics, who have awarded us prestigious awards such as the Choc, Diapason, French Orphées d'Or, the British Editor's Choice of Gramophone or the German PdSK.
The musicological research is part of the "Links, Creativity and Culture" project of the Culture and Society Institute (ICS) of the University of Navarra and is endorsed by the Higher Council of Scientific Research (CSIC), with which it publishes the collection "Poetic Music".
